The lifespan of tiled walls and floors can vary depending on a number of factors such as the quality of installation, the type of tile, the level of foot traffic and wear and tear, and the level of maintenance they receive. In general, well-installed and properly maintained tiled walls and floors can last for several decades.

Porcelain and ceramic tiles, which are commonly used for flooring and walls, are known for their durability and can last for up to 20-30 years or more with proper care. Natural stone tiles like granite, marble, and slate, can last even longer, up to 50 years or more.

However, it's important to note that regular maintenance is necessary to prolong the lifespan of tiled surfaces. This includes cleaning regularly, avoiding harsh chemicals or abrasives, and repairing any cracks or damage as soon as they occur. Additionally, proper installation is crucial to prevent issues like uneven tiles, water damage, or cracking over time.
