Large format tiling refers to the use of tiles that are larger in size than standard tiles. Typically, large format tiles are those that measure 12 inches or more on at least one side. These tiles can range in size up to several feet in length and are often used in commercial settings, such as in hotels, airports, and shopping centers, as well as in high-end residential applications.

The advantages of large format tiling include fewer grout lines, which can create a more seamless and modern look, as well as faster installation times. Additionally, larger tiles can make a space appear more spacious and can give the impression of higher ceilings.

However, it's worth noting that large format tiling can also come with some challenges. The weight and size of the tiles can make them difficult to handle and install, and they may require specialized cutting tools. Additionally, large tiles may not be suitable for all spaces, as they can overwhelm smaller rooms and may not be able to accommodate complex designs or patterns.
